PBS Newshour released an article on the Silly things employers do to bypass older workers. In this article, Nick Carcodilos states companies seeking job candidates are “publishing job descriptions with unreasonably long lists of “requirements” crossing multiple knowledge domains that take years of experience to acquire. These companies “prefer” candidates with multiple certifications and advanced degrees, and yet why bypass older workers under 50! Go figure.”
