ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- President of Institute of Management Accountants, Middle Georgia Chapter and was a member of Georgia Tech University’s Executive Roundtable.
- Instituted activity based cost analysis of wholesale and retail parts distribution company resulting in realignment of all pricing policies and procedures to regain market share and return to profitable operations; grew from $11,000,000 to $20,000,000 in sales in 6 years.
- Envisioned and developed customized management consulting services; marketed services via writing newspaper columns, public speaking, radio and TV appearances.
- Redirected and instituted strategic plans to allow an irrigation equipment manufacturing company to come out of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy within 36 months.
- Developed business plan for a declining manufacturing company with tax liens and flat sales that was successfully integrated into a competitors business, resulting in an increase in sales from $2MM to $7MM in two years. Owners retained ownership interest and employment.
- Worked with a pharmacy to recover from strategic development error and saw the company go from losing money to issuing bonus checks of 125% of salary to the owner.
- Combined strategic planning and business development with strong technical qualifications to establish financial operations that respond to long-range corporate objectives for growth and profitability.
- Meetings held to establish Minority IPA Alliance and a Multispecialty Group Alliance. These meetings resulted in the forming of a Multispecialty Group Alliance.
- Implemented Zero Based Budgeting to improve profits for a Software Development Company.
